Tomorrow is the last day of school, but I will be flying to America at 05:00, which means today was my last day of first grade. Many kids blessed me before I gave out gifts to my classmates.
Naomi and Halleli came with us after church, today. They are spending the night, but first we went to the zoo and had a picnic. I helped get things ready for our picnic before we went to church.
Noga and Shemayim spent the night last night. Today was so much fun; Abba took us to the playground, or actually a few playgrounds. At one of them we were able to cool off when the sprinklers came on . . . there was a leak and it was spraying onto the playground. In this [...]
I had a slumber party last night, and when we woke up, this is what was on the door. We had no idea that Ima was going to decorate the house while we were sleeping. There were balloons and streamers everywhere. She even drew hearts on the mirrors in the bathrooms. We were so shocked [...]
Here’s an advertisement for the women’s tea at our church. I’m one of the actresses. The other two are my best friends. Thanks Uncle John and Aunt Alina for making a great video. It was so much fun. [youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LEG6puVG9Yk]
Today, I told Abba that “I like going to school, but I don’t like learning. I like seeing my friends, but learning is boring.” Abba just smiled and said, I “better start liking learning because [I] have a lot of it ahead of me.” First grade has been challenging. It’s a big jump from kindergarten [...]
My friends Sarah and Boaz spent the night last night because their Ima is having a baby. We had so much fun playing and sleeping on the bunk bed in the guest room. However, they got up really early this morning, which made it a long day. Abba prepared a really nice breakfast for us [...]
Ken and Lucy have done it once again. They brought me a bunch of fun stuff: scissors, a pencil bag, a compass, a ruler, a bag of Tootsie Rolls, 3 bags of beef jerky, and some more scholarship money. Thank you so much for your kindness.
A couple of days ago, we went to Uncle Bill and Aunt Sabine’s for Uncle Bill’s birthday breakfast. It was fun because he let me help squeeze the juice. Uncle Bill, I hope you had fun; I did. Thanks for inviting us.
Today, I went to a birthday party at the zoo. We celebrated Miriam Bracha’s 7th birthday with hamburgers, chips, cake and animals. It was so fun. Here’s a video of us singing happy birthday and blowing out the candles. It was a little windy, so it was hard to keep the candles lit long enough [...]
I’ve seen the double decker bus driving around Jerusalem lots of times, and every time I have asked, “Can we ride the double decker bus?” The answer has always been, “Yes, but not today.” Well, that’s all changed now because we rode it today. It was really exciting to finally get to ride on the [...]
It was an interesting ride home from school today. Basically, I told Ima and Abba that they need to disregard everything I said here. They seemed shocked, relieved and humored all at the same time. In short, here’s what I told them: “I’m going to marry Yoshi, and we’re going to have so many kids [...]
Here’s a picture of my first test. My teacher called out the numbers, which we had to write. After we wrote the numbers we had to illustrate that number by drawing the correct number of items next to it. If you are wondering, I got all my numbers correct except 2, which I wrote backwards.
Since we were in America so close to my birthday, Ima needed some time to plan it after we got back. So, my party was a little after my birthday, but that didn’t seem to matter to everybody who came. A lot of girls (and one boy) came to my princess party. We had a [...]
I cried my eyes out tonight because my friends Naomi and Halleli are going to Australia for 3 months. I’m not sure how long that is, but it sounds like a LOOOOONG time. Their father is from Australia, so the family is going to see his family and rest a bit. I can understand wanting [...]
