Tomorrow is the last day of school, but I will be flying to America at 05:00, which means today was my last day of first grade. Many kids blessed me before I gave out gifts to my classmates.
This a note I made for my art teacher, Beth. I made it allbymyself. I did ask Ima how to spell what I wanted to write, but I did it all by myself including cutting out the heart, thinking of the words and writing them. I like my teacher.
My math teacher says I have a gift for math. I came up with a new counting system allbymyself, so I don’t know if it is a gift or just my system. [youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ISkrcUcqOwk]
This is a royal cat. I drew it allbymyself. One of the best things that we bought from a moving sale was this art station. On one side it has a chalkboard, the other has a marker board. I love to draw.
Here’s the video Abba has been promising for a month to get finished. In it you can see that I don’t need a push to get started; I can start allbymyself. I also don’t have to stay inside the enclosure, I can go to other areas in the park. [youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gbYgzwDSp4A]
This is the self portrait that I did in art class at school. I really love drawing and coloring.
Today, was the big day: I finally got to try to ride my bike without those extra little wheels. Abba told me about when he learned to ride his bike, so I was a little nervous, but not too much. Anyway, we got up this morning and went to the back yard. I was disappointed [...]
Today, was my first time to go bowling, and it was an overwhelming experience. I had never been inside a bowling alley, so there was a lot to learn about how things work there. For example, I wore special shoes like these: The building was full of noise; hard balls thudding on hard floors before [...]
My first prank was really fun: I put these giant ants in Ima and Abbas bed, but didn’t tell them. I put some under the blanket and some on Abba’s pillow. Abba was really proud of me when he found out that I thought of this allbymyself.
Since I’m growing up, Abba asked me to make my bed allbymyself for the first time today. This is how it turned out:
There are a few important things you can see in this photo, particularly two firsts. First, I slep through the night without my safety rail for the first time. Second, I made my bed allbymyself for the first time. I also picked out my own clothes and dressed myself, but that’s not the first time [...]
I’ve been working on this for a while, and kinda got it a time or two, but nothing like today! In fact, today’s effort at tying my shoe allbymyself was so amazing that Abba videod me tying my second shoe. So, here is a photo of a properly tied shoe (double knot, of course) and [...]
In Israel, kids under 5 ride free. So, today, on my 5th birthday, I bought my first ticket – almost allbymyself. Actually, I was all geared up to buy the ticket – money in hand, first in line at the stop – when Abba told me what I had to say to the driver to [...]
Here’s how I write my name in Hebrew. The teacher’s model is on top, my writing is on bottom. In this case, I didn’t copy the teacher’s model, Abba just Photoshopped it in here so that you could compare the two. I wrote my name allbymyself.
Here’s an example of what I do at school. The letter or number on the far right is the teacher’s model. I’m supposed to copy that as well as I can.
